Anyang Yuhua Machinery supplied full-section canal-lining and slope-finishing equipment for irrigation-channel rehabilitation in Kazakhstan's Zhambyl Region, part of a regional modernization of around 310 water facilities across the Zhambyl, Bayzak, Zhualyn, Merken and Korday districts.
Zhambyl Region, in southern Kazakhstan, is a national priority for irrigation modernization. With financing from the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), regional authorities are reconstructing around 310 water facilities across the Zhambyl, Bayzak, Zhualyn, Merken and Korday districts — work covering roughly 53,900 hectares and backed by more than 25 billion tenge. Kazakhstan's Comprehensive Plan for Water Sector Development (2024–2030) further targets 20 new reservoirs and about 14,000 km of irrigation systems.
Anyang Yuhua Machinery supplied full-section canal-lining machines, slope-cutting and finishing equipment, and on-site commissioning support for irrigation-channel rehabilitation in the region. The concrete-lined channels reduce seepage losses — a key objective as Kazakhstan works to cut irrigation water losses across the Almaty, Jambyl, Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions — and improve the reliability of water delivery to downstream farmland.
